Annyeonghi kaseyo but not goodbye
Well, Aunt Mary has now left (currently in the air) for Korea to teach English. We said goodbye to her at the airport this morning and it was sad to think that we won't be seeing her for a whole year. Thank god for the net, though - we'll still see her often using the web cam.
It's hard to believe that the next time we see Mary, Amelia will be over a year old. She'll be walking and babbling and might actually have hair again. She'll be different - it's hard to imagine what that future child will be like. It makes me a little sad because I'm so crazy about her the way she is now, I almost don't want her to change.
That's life though, and just like Mary is off on an exciting adventure, this coming year will be an adventure for us. But without all the jet lag and culture shock.
