Sometimes, no baby is a good thing
Chris and I had a fabulous night out on the weekend, which included no baby for 18 hours!
We went for a very posh dinner at the CN Tower Restaurant (360) - thanks Lisa! - and then rented a hotel room for the night. In the morning, we ordered room service breakfast and drank coffee while lounging in big fluffy bathrobes. It was heaven!
The hotel room part was a surprise to Chris, which is a hard secret to keep but worth it, for the reaction. I only called home once to check on her highness, and she did great with the grandparents. She probably got more attention than she would've if we were there!
I would definitely recommend a night out to anyone with a baby. Of course, I was really excited to see her when we got home but she probably didn't even notice we were gone and it was a great escape for us.
