I will remain actual size

T minus five days until we leave Toronto, our home for the last five years and and the place our babies were born. The reality is starting to fully set in and I am entering the final stages of choking panic.

I read a funny card today, though.

It was a goodbye message and said something like:

As you leave and walk away, you will look smaller and smaller to the people watching you.
Don't worry.
You will still remain actual size.
It's a science thing.

The card was strangely reassuring.
